Beck MineBeck Mine

Beck Mine - Video

Beck Mine in southern California is situated 20 miles south east of Tecopa and a one and a half hour drive due West of Las Vegas. Magnetite is processed dry at the site as in its natural state, the product contains less than 1% moisture. The resultant saleable magnetite is of very high quality, having FE content around 66.5%. Monthly production of magnetite is approximately 30,000mt using the existing, scalable plant.

Initially, processed magnetite fines for export will be trucked to Fontana for trans-loading into containers prior to drayage to Port of LA and loading onto a liner service for Asia.

Iron Age MineIron Age Mine

Iron Age Mine

Iron Age Mine in Southern California is situated 15 miles east of 29 Palms and a one hour drive northeast of Palm Springs. Iron Age is currently in the permitting stage and production is expected to start towards the end of the first quarter of 2016.

US Iron will look to utilize as much of the existing mine logistics infrastructure as possible with only remedial work to be undertaken. As with Beck the ore body is of good quality and US Iron will again use a dry processing technique, which will achieve magnetite fines of around 65% FE grade.

Stokes MineStokes Mine

Stokes Mine

Stokes Mine is located near Gabbs, Nevada. The mine has a tailings dump of approximately 1.5mt and one open pit with proven reserves. While Iron Age and Stokes are the current priorities, the permitting process at Stokes should commence during Q2 2012 with dry processing of magnetite also employed.
